Lake Tahoe

Right after Christmas we headed up to Lake Tahoe for a great time of snowboarding and skiing. My parents have a condo at North Star so we got to stay there and snowboard for 2 days! My parents, Tad, and I took turns watching the kids so it worked out great. We had perfect conditions and it was just one of those unforgettable trips. It would dump at night and stay pretty warm during the day.

We meet up with Autumn and her family one of the days and of course like girls do Autumn and I had fun taking pictures of each other having a blast! Nothing better then fresh powder through the trees.

Saxon and Layne having a great time making snowmen and being pulled by my mom.

After snowboarding we went in the back and played with Saxon in the snow.

Christmas 2009

Even though Christmas is always very stressful and super busy... it still is such a great time of the year.

This year we went up to SJ for Christmas with my family. It was so much fun. My mom went (as usual) crazy decorating and it was beautiful. There was a Christmas tree in every room!

We continued with the great traditions of an amazing Christmas Eve dinner..

Then followed with a fun acted out nativity scene. This was cute with all the little kids..
Saxon "hark the herald angel singing"

Dane "Baby Jesus in the basket"

and as my sister april said, Micah "the cutest shepherd ever"

Then waiting for Santa to come...

And of course the best part waking up early and running down to see what Santa brought. This year Saxon was so fun we ran down the stairs and looked at all the toys and all he could say was "OH MY GOODNESS".. that was priceless..

Santa did great this year he really listened to what my boys wanted and i guess some elves somehow sneaked them on the nice list and they got what they asked for...

From the moment Saxon saw our Christmas tree up he ran up to it and said "Christmas tree Christmas tree I want a guitar and drums for Christmas" with no reminders or help he continued to ask for them over and over. We tried to get him down to just a guitar and he was pretty satisfied with that until Christmas eve when he once again added the drums to what Santa is bring. Good thing Santa knows where to get gifts at the last minute. So Sure enough Saxon got "just what he always wanted".

Micah couldn't verbalize what he wanted but since he is always hopping Saxon's Bike we decided to get him is own. (no picture of Micah on the bike but here is he just amazed with everything going on)

Dane in the same situation as Micah... really has everything he would ever want so Santa surprised him with his favorite toy and favorite word "a doll" which is a ball in Danes language.

It was such a great day opening presents and hanging out. The best part was that opening presents took all day not because there was a ton of presents but because the little boys would open something and just want to play with it and not open more. Christmas is awesome. Can't wait tell next year!

Christmas Card

With so much going on this last December I didn't think that we were going to be able to get christmas cards out. But luckily we found a ten minute break in our schedules and ran down to the beach at 8am and got a picture taken by my sister April. For having not much time I think they turned out great. Thanks April...oh and if you haven't got your christmas card from us it is probably still waiting to be sent out. I swear who invented christmas cards!!!! AHHHH, they drive me nuts.. but i love getting them and so i continue to put myself through this torture.

Knotts Berry Farm in December

In December our neighbor got us free tickets to Knotts Berry Farm. It was so much fun. This was the first time that Saxon got to go on rides all by himself. It was great to see his little expressions.

Dane got to chill in his stroller the whole time

Micah got to jump! He loved it.

Saxon got to enjoy all the rides.
